About Dr. Rai Memorial Medical Centre
From a humble beginning the centre has grown from strength to strength and today the centre has emerged as a fully fledged 40 bedded hospital with all modern equipments and facilities like the state of the art Linear Accelerator, Telecobalt therapy, Brach therapy, Mammogram, Ultrasound, X ray, CT Scan, Pathological/ Clinical Laboratory and Operation Theatre. The centre is located in the heart of the city on 562, Century Plaza, Mount Road (Anna Salai) Teynampet, and Chennai – 18 and is easily accessible.
At present Dr.R.R.Rai MS (Surgeon) is in overall charge of the Medical Centre. The Centre has a panel of Specialists in various disciplines like Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology and Medical Oncology and their services are available on regular and consultancy basis for treating patients with different types of diseases. This centre is treating about 1500 new cases every year.
